HUD has reported that Owner/Agents have been called and the caller has identified themselves as HUD staff.

The caller requested from the Owner/Agent bank account and routing numbers, HUD User IDs, voucher amounts and other contract specific information. When further questioned by the Owner, the caller disconnected the call.

Be advised that HUD staff will NEVER call asking for this type of information. Should you receive such a call, please HUD has requested that you contact your Contract Administrator to report the incident. They will in turn contact HUD.
